PBS at Central High School
In order to retain their Gold Model School Status from the 2018-2019 school year, the plan is to provide PBS in various ways to students, teachers, and staff who consistently maintained the characteristics of a Central High School Bear (Balanced, Engaged, Altruistic, and Resourceful). Some examples would include, but not limited to, providing a variety of incentives for teachers and staff who go above-and-beyond, half-day fun day for all, positive postcards sent out to parents and/or guardians, classroom and school-wide incentives, etc.
The purpose is to engage their CHS community in campus-wide expectations and activities through positive behavior interventions and support by recognizing those individuals who are not meeting criteria for participation in PBS activities, to strive for improvement and positive gains.
PBS is a necessary program that will promote the expectations of a CHS Bear for all students, teachers, and staff to become better, productive members of society.
