Maurita Strother began working with the STEAM Program in 2015. During this time, she continued pursuing the position of Site Coordinator for the STEAM Program at Pine Grove Elementary School where she later became the Program Coordinator in 2021.

Rita enjoys working with both children and the elderly, and she is passionate about education.

She describes herself as a unique, talented, fun, and full of life individual. Rita loves music, and she strives to be successful in all that she does.
