Michael Gunther serves on the Hernando County Education Foundation Board of Directors.  Michael is the local Grand Canyon University Development Counselor who lives in Tampa Bay and has family living in Spring Hill.  Michael is married to his wife Sue and has a son Jack.

Michael received his bachelor degree from Penn State University and his graduate degree from West Chester University.

Michael believes in giving back to the community through participating in events that supports students, teachers and schools.  Through his work and giving back he enjoys recognizing district administrators, instructional assistants, paraprofessionals, school related professionals, secretaries, substitutes, support staff and teachers.
